Facial phrases
Through my literary (and televised) travels, I've found a few facial related phrases.
'With a face that looked like a drooping soggy sock' - P.G. Wodehouse.
'With a face that could curdle fresh milk' - J.R.R. Tolkien.
'With a face that looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp' - Harry Enfield.
Call them metaphors I've met before. I think the final one takes home all the prizes.
There may be more. I will append them when I find them. Keep visiting my blog so you don't miss out.
